Goran Mojanoski

Born in 1989. By profession, he is an economist. In 2012, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, and in 2017, he earned his master’s degree at the same faculty in the field of statistical methods for business and economics. Today, Goran is a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje. He currently works as an associate at the Ministry of Finance. He started his professional career at the Faculty of Economics, where he taught Statistics for Business and Economics to first-year students. He also worked as a project leader on an entrepreneurial project in the civil organization Summer Work and Travel Alumni Macedonia, which resulted in the realization of a Macedonian local freelance platform (2014 – 2015). In the period from 2015 to 2018, he worked as a project coordinator at the Association of Young Researchers and Analysts, where he researched current issues in the field of Foreign Direct Investments and their impact on the Macedonian economy, as well as issues related to Infrastructure Development and the technical and technological equipment of primary schools in Macedonia. In addition to formal education, he holds a series of certificates for professional development and has attended training for gaining qualifications in investment consulting, public speaking, business plan preparation, mentoring, and fundraising.

Marija Todorovska

Marija graduated from the Faculty of Economics and earned her master’s degree in Social Work and Social Policy in 2014, focusing on labor exploitation, identification, and protection of trafficked persons. She is one of the founders of the association Open Gate and has been professionally engaged since 2000. She is primarily involved in prevention and education on human rights and preventing human trafficking. Since 2010, she has been the program director, responsible for coordinating, monitoring, collaborating, and developing the association’s programs for advocacy and lobbying, prevention, education, and direct support to victims of human trafficking. She is actively involved in the work of La Strada – the European Network against Human Trafficking, and from 2014 to 2018, she served as a member of its board of directors. Marija also participates in the work of the Secretariat of the National Commission for Combating Human Trafficking, the National Subgroup for Prevention of Child Trafficking, and other working bodies for developing strategies, action plans, and legal solutions. She is the author and co-author of several publications, a consultant, national expert, and trainer on topics related to the protection and promotion of the rights of trafficked persons.

Cena Chalovska

Born in 1962, she is a graduate in pedagogy. Her professional career began in 1988 when she started working at the Ministry of Interior as an inspector for juvenile delinquency and sociopathological phenomena. Since 1995, she has been actively involved in the non-governmental sector in the field of protecting child victims and women victims of domestic violence. As a representative of the Ministry of Interior and an activist in the non-governmental sector, she has participated in numerous trainings, workshops, and seminars on preventing domestic violence and protecting women victims of domestic violence. She has been a member and chairperson in various working groups for the preparation and implementation of strategies, draft laws, protocols, and regulations for the protection of victims of domestic violence at the national level from 2008 to 2020. She has also been involved in training police officers from the departments of internal affairs and visitors of the Police Academy – Pavel Shatev, Skopje, regarding the handling of domestic violence cases.

Sead Ismail

Born in 1980, he completed his higher education at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality at the University of Bitola. He has been a long-time advocate for the rights of the Roma community in Shuto Orizari through his work with the ELS, as well as his contributions to the work of the civil sector in the municipality. Since 2009, he has served as the President of the Council and a member of the working groups within the municipality. Sead has been a long-standing activist with the Red Cross, and since 2020, he has actively contributed to the development and work of the Association for the Development and Advancement of the Roma Community Romano Chachipe, as the President and a member of the organization’s Board of Directors.

Mihajlo Kostovski

MSc Mihajlo Kostovski is a consultant specializing in human rights protection in the field of health and social insurance, with a primary focus on protecting marginalized groups such as Roma, persons with disabilities, children and the elderly, and individuals in correctional facilities, among others. He holds a master’s degree in European Social Security from the Faculty of Law at the prestigious “Katholieke University – Leuven” in Belgium. He completed his law degree at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje. In addition to formal education, he holds numerous certificates for professional development. Throughout his career, he has worked as an Assistant Director of the Health Insurance Fund, a State Advisor for International Cooperation and European Integration, an Advisor for second-instance procedures at the Ministry of Health, and more. He has been involved in many significant national and international projects. For years, he has been an active member of the state delegation for negotiations on international bilateral health insurance agreements with other countries. He has participated in the preparation of various strategic state documents (national strategies, action plans, protocols, reports, project evaluations, etc.) in the area where he provides consultancy services. Mihajlo collaborates with several NGOs within his field of expertise and has been a long-standing trainer on basic knowledge of health insurance rights and healthcare, especially in training paralegals-mediators from the Roma community.
